I found Zandalor but everytime I try to go find the door/sword I get zapped in the hallways. how do I get past this?

You can either try to quickly run past while drinking potions or if you have disarm traps, you can try to locate them.

If your lightning resistance is low: Drink purple potions, they boost up resistances for a short while.
Another thing: Evade trap skill (if you've got it)
Third thing: Are you dying in there? If so, please tell me your res. values - not that you've fallen for the res. bug.
