i had version 1.29 and i've upgraded it to 1.34 but when ever i quick saved it would only give me one slot and the screen would save blacked out. does anyone know whats up?

1.29 saves are not compatible with 1.34 saves, that is to say the 1.29 savegame will not open after a 1.34 update!

no i would start a new game in 1.34 and the 1 quick save would be black and could someone address the problem with only 1 quick save i thought it would be by default 2

maybe you should try to re-install the patch,
to be sure!

If you have Windows XP, did you install the patch from an account with administrative privileges? If it can not update some files it does not give an error message.

BTW, games saved under 1.29/1.32 will work find after the 1.34 patch, but many of the story fixes are not retro-active.
