Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks 2 Pieces of Dragon armor unattainable?

It seems I didn't explore stormfist verywell as I never went and found the dragon shield. Well now I am gearing up to become the divine one and I would really like to grab it, only problem is I can't get in at all. I've tried fighting the Captain of the guards but it just won't work (rep is at 38). Any clues on how to get back in or slaughter the whole castle (never liked that little brat Janus anyways) for the good of the people of Rivellon?
I also seem to have broken Sir Patrick. He keeps telling me to settle the debt with Lucius before things take a nasty turn. Problem is I already did and the [nocando] keeps telling me to go and settle the debt. I have an earlier save (was trying to sack stormfist) so its not far back. Is there away around this or should I revert to my sacking attempt and go from there? Any help would be much appreciated.

To get into stormfist just run in and when they tell you you cant enter, keep running in. Gets me in every time. They dont follow you or attack you either.

As for Sir Patrick, sorry but cant help you. Maybe just ignore him.

Did you get that piece of dragon armor from Sir Patrick after you settled Lucius' debt? If you did, don't worry too much about fixing it. You're done with that quest. You can throw a teleporter stone pass the entrance and teleport yourself through to get pass the Stormfist Castle entrance. I'm assuming you know where the dragon shield is. If not, go to this link by Kiya:

You can't really slay Janus at this point in the game. You'll get your chance later...

the running thing never worked for me, but you can toss one teleporter through the gate and teleport back in.

as for patrick, i don't know. do you have the latest patch? (1.34)

For Sir Patrick, try re-loading. If that doesn't work (I think you will need a save before paying the debt);

Excellent, thank you all very much. Just reloaded to other save and it worked fine and that teleportor trick is perty useful!
On a side note:
if i patch from 1.32a to 1.34, will my save from 1.32 be corrupt if I load it in 1.34 and save in 1.34?

Your saves going from 1.32 to 1.34 will be fine. It was just v1.33 that might have corrupted previous saves in some cases (black map bug).
