eeps! I know a lot is going on and this will just another chip in the pile...but..Any way custom classing could be added in? so we can build our own starting class? Picking the Abilities/Spells they start with also.

From what I know, that's the plan. It's mostly possible already anyway, except for the skills/starting gear (or maybe that, have yet to boot the latest version)

Starting skills (the abilities on your hotbar) can't be altered yet and are tied to your class choice, but that's supposed to change soon.
Weapon/armor selection can't be altered yet either (and is also tied to your class choice). No word on whether or not that will happen, but I really hope it does.

Well, that is possible, although you will have to wait with one of the 2 till in the city and you buy the spell (which isn't too long).

Just wanted to pipe in real quick about this. Just started my final playthrough with the new update and found out something interesting.
I built a rogue character but customized her to have a point in bow and a point in way of the ranger with the intention of getting her a simple bow as soon as possible. Turns out she had a bow in her inventory right from the start. It just had her equip a dagger as her class was rogue. So, there is that.
