There isn't really a skill tree in the sense of "this leads to that, which leads to these other things". Each skill has a rank of 0-5 and higher is better in some fashion. Specific activated powers do have prerequisites, but this is a straightforward "Summon Fire Elemental requires 3+ in Fire Magic" and this doesn't preclude anything else along the way.
