First, let me say I've commented (on the Larian forums) before and I was remarkably pleased to see that most of the things I had mentioned were actually implemented, refined and now at a fantastic state in the game. This is especially so considering that the game is still in beta (I myself have been playing/testing since alpha). The game is superb as far as I am concerned and I am truly thrilled, amazed and awed by Larian's communication and taking on board of feedback both positive and negative.

Playing the current build, I've found only two particularly niggling things that I would truly classify as "annoying".

I am playing a rogue and wayfarer combo, the wayfarer styled somewhat after a ranger/druid if dnd-esque.

- My wayfarer currently has 1 point in way of the ranger, 2 points in bow. I possess a magical shortbow that does 46-72 damage as well as a few other effects. However, when using normal arrows and special arrows, the bow consistently does no more than 4-10 damage combined (the damage + absorbed amount). This has been to a range of enemies, from orcs and skeletons to rats. I'm not sure what the exact issue is from a technical point of view (that is well beyond my knowledge) however considering every other weapon I have used on my rogue, Madora and Jahan (sorry, that may be mispelled) have all does damage that would be reflected by their weapon statistics.

- When using special arrows outside of combat to achieve a desired effect, the arrow is spent/used yet NO effect whatsoever occurs. For example, there is water, using a static charge arrow and a stunning arrow, nothing occurs. On an ooze puddle, neither flame arrow nor explosive arrow creates any effect or changes the terrain in anyway. I believe if a player uses a special arrow OOC it should still create an effect where necessary, especially any arrows designed to have an area effect upon 'contact with a target'. Surely, the ground should be considered a target!

(Very High Priority) - The inventory system has been refined and it's definitely become better. However, the fact I cannot sort and/or order my inventory is ANY automatic fashion really annoys the quite OCD monster that lives in my soul. Now I would not be referred to as OCD in any respect but having to scroll down 20 empty boxes to a few randomly scattered items due to the way that inventory stacking works (or haphazardly functions as the case would be) it means I cannot stack those arrow shafts that are singles with the few that are in groups. Nor can I simply make more 'efficient' use of space by having all my inventory items stacked one after the other after a shopping trip to sell loot.

Most other games based around an RPG have either a limited number of slots (whether bound by number of items and/or weight) and while there certainly is a weight limit, I personally have never even come close to getting to it with my measly strength of 5 on the rogue and wayfarer. The main beef I have with the inventory really just comes down to not having my items all neatly and efficiently stacked in piles. I would generally stack my things this way in life e.g. in my kitchen I have my plates stacked on top of plates, next to plates and besides that I have all my cups with a handle, before further on there are glasses. All those items are not randomly strewn together. Thus an auto arrange or even just 'condense' feature should REALLY be implemented before release.

You do not want one of the few complaints by journalists and game reviewers (e.g. Rock Paper Shotgun) taking a shot at you over such a glaring oversight.

Try dragging your crossbow to your inventory to un-equip it, then right click to re-equip.
