Hey all... I submitted the below list on the Steam Bug Page, thought I would be redundant and announce my continued presence on the forums by posting here as well...
Hope that you are all enjoying this game as much as I am. Before I lay out the bug list, here is a word from our sponsor.... I want to suggest to those of you who have not yet tried out the Ranger build to give it a whirl. Rangers are very versitle. I tried one out with my latest playthrough and discovered 15 cominbations of arrows that create some type of magical effect. It is truly like having a fully skilled mage of all classes in one with the different types of arrows you can create emulating all spell classes, even Witchcraft. When you combine the special arrowheads with the Skill set offered, the Ranger makes an excellent addition. Its most unique attribute is the ability to attack from distances that are almost twice as far as any mage spell. If you haven't given it a whirl yet, trust me, the build is worth the play. Make sure you give your Ranger skills in Bows and Crossbows so you are not limited, but you can concetrate a greater amount of points to one of the two skill sets, bows or crossbows.
Here are the bugs that I have experienced in my latest playthrough:
1. When crafting the needle and thread with animal hide, I experienced a crash. (submitted report)
2. When crafting the magic needle and thread with scraps, the crafting action triggers, but nothing results post event, the two objects remain apart
3. When crafting magic arrow heads with shafts, they will sometimes disappear after the crafting event not increasing the respective arrow count, particularly experienced this each time with static cloud arrowheads and the explosive arrow heads, but also arbitrarily with other heads
4. After defeating the boss at the lighthouse, when you attempt to pick up the Fire Resistance Potions, the game crashes, and was able to repeat this event each time (submitted report)
5. When changing characters while trading with vendors, the spells and skill books are compared with the skill levels of the original character that initiated the trade and do not update with the transitioned character.
6. The button in the house accessible right outside the Whispering Woods (name may be incorrect) that is behind the shelf that you need to destroy to access the button does not trigger any event once activated.
7. Characters avoid traps, but when switching between characters as the lead position, the change of position of the remaining characters will result in the following characters blindly walking into traps, or dangerous environmental surface areas they would generally avoid, like fire, poison, ice, and lightning.
8. The items available with Arhu through trade become redundant once you start selling your items to Arhu, whereby, he will have multiple sets of spell books for Fire and Earth spells between the items you have traded to him with each progressive trade interaction.
9. The Witchcraft spell for unlock uses your actual lockpicking skill for success, rather than your Witchcraft spell level.
10. Rings do not work properly. Although there are two slots for rings, if you add a ring to the second slot it will cancel out the effects of the ring in the first slot limiting you to one ring.
11. The Fire Elemental Spell Trainer in the End of Time that is unlocked does not sell any Fire Spell scrolls over Level 3, whereas the other elementals sell scrolls at Level 4. No level 5 spells are offered by any elementals.
12. There are no vendors in Cyseal that can repair Level 5 damaged items requiring you to discard these items.
13. I am not sure how to confirm this next issue, or if it is even an issue, but you may want to check on the coding for long distance range attacks for the Ranger class. Despite great distances requiring Perception for accuracy and damage, it seems that the Ranger class can attack at very long distances successfully despite their Perception rating. As I increased my Ranger's Perception rating through items and skill points, I noticed no difference in the damage done at long distance or frequency of successful hits.
14. The "Clobbering" Rare Yellow Magic weapon gained by destroying the boss at the Lighthouse has a value that results in the vendor denying the transaction once placed in the trade box. Each time you attempt to sell this item the vendor cancels the sale stating, "The trade insults me". I also noticed that in two separate playthroughs, the item was worth 750 gold the first time, 824 gold the second time, despite having no difference in my bargaining skill between both playthroughs.
15. The well in front of the church where the stairs are broken making the entrance unaccessible is clickable as it would take you below the ground into a new area, but upon clicking the well, nothing happens.
16. In this latest build, magical items sold by vendors now require lore to disclose their magical properties. Before this latest build, magical items sold by vendors displayed their magical properties. It seems useless and a waste gold to buy magical items from vendors that you have no clue what the magical properties are for that item. Moreover, you cannot use the Identify button to identify the magical equipment sold by a vendor even if the Vendor has the ability to identify the object.
17. Crafting on an Iron Forge does not work other than combining metal ingots to the iron forge.
18. I haven't found any application for the hammer despite its description suggestnig uses other than arming the object for battle.
19. When you drop the Blue Teleporter Pyramid on the ground then use icon on the right side of the screen to fast travel to one of the discovered Waypoints, once you fast travel, the Blue Teleporter Pyramid ends up in your companions inventory despite not picking it up from the ground. The only way this action works is to run away from where you dropped the Blue Teleporter to a distance far enough that the Blue Teleporter Pyramid is no longer visible on the sreen.
20. After using the Shovel, the character re-equips his/her weapon, but if the character uses a shield, the shield does not auto equip, only the weapon.
21. Sometimes when using the shovel, the weapon it replaces upon being equipped disappears from your inventory, but then reappears in the characters equipped box by unequipping the shovel.
22. Casting tornado does not remove the environmental effects that are removed by placing an item over the trap.
23. Characters cannot move barrels that are filled with environmental elements despite strength ratings, which has only occurred after this latest patch.
24. Check the coding on the durability of weapons, weapons deterioration overly applied when destroying boxes or traps. Each hit reduces durability between 2 and 4 points.
Suggestion:
1. There should be an option to repair items that are equipped when trading with a Vendor so that the items do not have to be unequipped in order to repair them by vendors.
2. After combining items or crafting items, the combination should be saved under your Recipes tab since you have discovered the combination.
