Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Major Slowdowns

I get major slowdowns whenever I play DD.

It goes about 1 fps at times, and I would think that a 2D game would be a bit better than this on my machine:

1.8 gHz P4
256 MB PC-800 RDRAM
nVidia Geforce 3 ti 200

I also have the latest patch intstalled (1.34)

Any and all help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried adjusting the video settings menu??

Did you check the Technical Support FAQ or the first part of Troubleshooting and Manual Install Procedure? Are all non-essential programs shut down before you start playing?

Well, actually it's fixed.

I downloaded and installed the patch again, and applied "Smoothness" and "Alphabit" in the video configuration thing the DD offers.

It's all good here.
