So i just created my first character, i go to save the game.

Why are you asking me for a save name? I didn't ask to invent something! I just want to save my game. Why are you making think? Making me come up with something? I merely enter "1" to fill in your textbox.

Why don't you name my game save automatically?

Some suggestions "1" "2", charactername-1, charactername-2, the date, charactername-level, charactername-class etc etc etc.

Give me the ability to put my own custom name if that's what i want, but don't waste my time (and the time of all other) having to name my own save files. I don't care and most of your users don't care either. All we care about is we can save the game and load our files.

Put the slider for quicksave slots to 25 and save by pressing F5 - in that case you do not have to name the savegame files.

There is a popup message about quicksaves after you reach Cyseal.

Checking your own game options is a good thing to do.

I like the ability to name saves myself, btw.

I didn't say DON'T ALLOW ME to enter a name, i said DON'T MAKE ME.

Huge difference. This is pretty much one of the most core concepts of great user experience. Always trying to do the most obvious helpful thing for your users, but let users go off the rails if they wish to.
