Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta [Mac] Homestead is black

I've seen this before and it happens for me in multiplayer as well.

When you're transferred to homestead the area is black (completely)

I've seen this bug mentioned in threads, but given its importance I decided to put it in separate thread.

So, have you experienced this bug, and if yes, have you managed to overcome it.

As for me

If homestead is black then quitting game and reloading will fix this.
I will debug this issue as on Windows everything seems to be normal.

I had the same issue. I know that just reloading a save isn't sufficient, I had to at the very least quit the game. I don't remember if I restarted or not.
