These are kind of endemic to this sort of game, but are immersion breaking (for me), and this is a beta:
  • Who the hell waves a six- or eight-foot staff around by the tip? Staves are heavy and two-ended. You don't use them like daggers.
  • Who holds swords in the middle of the hilt? It's unbalanced, and you don't have the guard as another control surface. Why do that?
  • How could anybody be expected to use a weapon where the guard/haft/whatever is as big as their freaking thigh? I know oversize weapons are cool, anime/cartoon design, blah, blah blah; I'm not questioning that, but you have to be able to grip the damn things, not?

Kind of sucks to have a legendary hero who appears to never have handled a weapon.

(I know: more whining about appearances from Pete.)

O.O I never noticed the staff animation ._. .. now I don't like my caster.

Any chance this could be an easy fix and just move the staff in the animation? pretty please Larian.

I haven't noticed the other problems, but the staff one is the one that throws me off. Right now I dont even look at Jahan because of that. hahaha
