Hello there, I`m a kickstarter backer for Divinity at the "160 or more" tier.
As an avid collector of video games I have quite the collection of collector`s and special edition of games. As I see you have announced a collector`s edition box for the game I had a question I would like to ask.
As my pledge says I have the physical copy of the "Kickstarter box" of Divinity. What is the difference (If any) between that box and the CE? Does the kickstarter box include everything the CE does + more? Or do I have to buy the collector`s edition box as well to get all the goodies?. I really hope not!, Then I woould have quite a number of copies of this game, and it would end up quite expensive.
Anyone able to help me with this?
And also if possible a complete/updated list of everything my backed tier gives me? As rewards probably have changed a bit/more has been added/some things changed during the time from when i kicked and today.

Edit: As far as i can see, (unless im stupid/blnd) if I`m a high tier backer that backed Divinity and helped it get developed I`l miss out on: Stickers, Alchemical Cards, Golden Grail, Divine/Beyond Divinity, Two sided poster, physical copy soundtrack, Zandalar`s deck of cards.

Now the copy of Divinity/Beyond divinity i can live without because i have those games from back when they were released, but those other items I would really, really like. And If I would have to buy the CE I would end up with 2 more copies of the game, another cloth map, and another set of zandalor`s trunks.
This would also as far as I can see make me end up with 2 different versions of the game, 1 where i have all the kickstarter stuff, but no golden chalice, and one with the chalice and no kickstarter stuff.
Also it would end up costing me 230 dollars + shipping :(:

$160 tier? There is no such thing....maybe you had an addon or something for $10. EDIT Apparently there was a more expensive version of the $150 tier after that one sold out.

But the collector box that goes to all the KS backers at physical tiers $95 and above will be the same as the physical CE announced for retail. Not sure if they might add a KS sticker on it or something for KS backers but otherwise it's the same CE and same box I believe. As they said they are only selling 1500 of the 3000 manufactured CEs because 1500 are reserved for KS backers.

Actually the 150 tier is "ALL DIGITAL" while the 160 tier is physical copy, hence why i chose the 160 tier instead.

No, actually there were two $150 tiers....one digital and one physical. When the physical $150 tier sold out they added a few more but for $160.

Notice how no $160 physical tier is listed in the matrix? That's because the $160 is the same a the physical $150 tier that sold out.

Aha I stand corrected. How old is that list? As far as i can see on that list the "Zandalor`s cards" is not part of the CE but the "500" tier. and those are listed on https://www.larianvault.com/product.php?item=43 as part of the CE

I know what the tiers say but the pictured CE is what you get(minus dice, those are out for good due to manufacture issue) so happy birthday....I guess?

Take special note that the dice are gone and of this bit: "The Collector's Edition (the same backers in the $95 tier will get) is currently in production and here's what you can expect:"

Sad thing the dice didn`t make it :S, hopefully it can become an addon later? like you can have them as an addon that you pay for + shipping and they can arrive after the game release at some time. Id gladly pay extra for those dice.

Hmm... The CE includes 2 keys for the game. I have 2 keys now (Alpha/Beta key) And I also get a DRM free version to either gog or larian vault (whatever i choose).

So unless they remove the alpha/beta keys after a while (requiring you to input a new key to "upgrade" the game to full.)
I will end up with 5 copies of Divinity - Original sin, guess my friends will get the game as well.

I am pretty sure the Alpha/Beta key you got from KS will be revoked when the game launches. You'll still end up with three copies of the game though(two Steam keys from the CE and one key of your choice).

But I'm not sure anymore....I was only supposed to get one key for Dragon Commander and I chose the Vault, but then they gave me a Steam key for the full game too(not the Beta) which I don't quite understand why, maybe a mistake or something.

Guess I will have to wait and see, unless someone from Larian has anything to say about this. Not sure how often they read/reply on this forum.


Actually same thing happened to me, I have the game on steam, and I also have a copy on the vault.

On Larian vault I have one that says:
"Divinity Dragon Commander Imperial Edition"
and one that says:
"Divinity Dragon Commander Imperial Edition Addon"

And on steam I have one that says: "Divinity Dragon Commande Beta"
and one that says "Divinity Dragon Commander" (Which also has the Imperial edition as "DLC".

Edit: Interestingly enough that seems to indicate I can still install the beta version of Dragon commander on steam. Don`t see the point in doing so, but It seems it`s possible.

The Imperial Addon DLC is only a thing for the GOG and Vault versions of the game.

Edit: also needed for the vault version of the game, my bad. But not for Steam.

At one point Larian said they would like to have Steam keys for all the games sold through the Vault (presumably people would be more likely to buy directly from Larian that way). I don't know if that is still the intent.

There was an issue with the GOG keys for some of the pre-order and retail copies of Dragon Commander, so the Imperial Edition Addon was added to the Vault as a temporary fix while that was sorted out.

Steam seems not to be set up to remove beta entries that are no longer useful.
