Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta "Leader in sight"?

When hovering my mouse over NPCs some of them have a message below their name that says "leader in sight". What does this mean? I assumed it meant they could see my party leader, but the message remained even if I was in stealth mode.

It means that someone in your group has the Leadership ability, which grants bonuses to all party members except the leader.

Unrelated, but I wonder if maybe the Leadership bonuses should only be active as long as the leader is not dead.

But I'm talking about the message appearing on random NPCs, not party members.

Yes, random allied NPC's also get the bonus if one of your party members has Leadership.
