Hello everyone! This is my first post on this forum, but anyway, let's get straight to the point, right? wink

First of all, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. My hardware is:
Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 640, 3Ghz
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5770
RAM: 4GB (doubt that my RAM will be relevant though)

Should more information be necessary, let me know.

Now to the issue:
Until today, I was experiencing issues with textures that have translucency/an alpha layer. These textures shine through world geometry and pretty much every actor, something that is definitely not supposed to happen. It was already visible when creating my characters as the candle flames were shining through them, though I admit I was less bothered by that than by the hinderance that comes with it during gameplay:

I couldn't see any scorch marks on grounds that my coop partner saw and just walked into them and caught fire (must have seemed suicidal/silly and I thought this was a bug that randomly set me on fire not related to this issue before my coop partner explained what I was doing), when my character had a wet overlay (wears a hood), I was able to see the head through the hood and the other side of the hood that was actually obscured, but the latter issue with the shiny overlay was only the case with certain angles.

When we got to the observatorium (which happens to have a space skybox), I was literally blind and inable to do anything because all I saw was space and flames (and outlines of objects if I moved my mouse over them). We had to load an older save (luckily I did a quicksave before) and do something else for the time being.

I have been wondering whether it was some issue with a graphics setting (I'm running it on Ultra) and messed with it but to avail. Today, I even checked my Catalyst driver and changed the Anti Aliasing setting from "overwrite application settings" to "don't overwrite" as I was suspecting that maybe this was messing with it for some reason (at least I heard it might be the cause for such issues).
But oddly enough, the issue was gone today, I was not able to replicate the issue, no matter the AA setting of my driver.

Did you guys patch it? I found no information on this at all right now, but maybe I'm just searching for the wrong thing...

I guess I can only blame myself for not taking any screenshots of the issue to show here, biggest apologies for that! I know it would have been useful to see the issue. frown
Just imagine fire shining through buildings and characters, seeing the waterfall in the tutorial cave/temple shining through from the other side of the floor, windows in buildings being rendered on top of everything else, scorch marks not being visible and things alike.

Should it happen to reappear, I will immediately report back on this with some screenshots!

Thanks in advance!

There was no recent game update (last was a week ago). Maybe the change to your AA driver settings didn't take effect until you rebooted?

Sounds unlikely as I didn't reboot after changing the AA setting.
It was simply gone even when I set it back to the setting that I suepected the make troubles ("override application settings") and even after a reboot it was still fixed.

I'm really confused to be honest. :S
