Hi - I'm having some problems with a damage cloud that appears to be poison+fire cloud.

I'm not sure how it's created but it's really hard to clear properly and Madara loves to run right through it. As you move through poison fire clouds you tick for burning for every step and it's awful.

Due to the color of this cloud it's very hard to see when moving.

Sounds like a steam cloud. If you wait awhile it should dissipate on its own.

I'll try to get a screengrab later. They are orange with green haze, not white like the steam and rain doesn't get rid of it. Stays up perma from what I can tell. Might just be a graphical error of course.

Maybe heated poison clouds, not dense enough to explode? Or a mix of poison and steam?

Sounds like the small nodes that occur in the graveyard, when you blow up the horde of skeletal bombers, and detonate ooze and oil at the same time.

The smoke cloud eventually clears, but several small nodes of poison+fire cloud never go away.

Haven't seen them elsewhere, or experimented in blowing up multiple hazards at once, but in the cemetery? Every time for the last 4 beta versions.

Pete - That's exactly it! I was trying to remember where they were, it's most certainly the nodes in the cemetery.

The whole smoke cloud used to persist, but they fixed that a couple of versions ago.

Not to threadjack but I thought I'd chime in here with a question on clouds - is there a way to nullify an electric cloud? I've tried everything I can think of but it still persists.

For the trap in the Black Cove, toss a couple barrels into the middle to cover the emitter. In general, I'm not sure.

I've seen it in a few other places aside from the Black Cove (Old villa house and a few other places I'm sure) where there is no floor trap to block

The old villa house has one which is deactivated in a different way.

I had a big problem. I think this is a bug. I summoned a fire elemental. After it was gone there was a lava surface on the floor. One of my chars run through it and burned herself. I thought hmm there is water next to her. Move her into the water. What happened was quiet funny. All my chars died because the water gets steamy and killed them all. It didn't extinguish the fire at all frown

Not so much a bug as a feature that bit you in the ass.

Lava != burning oil.

Fire/spilled oil you can put out. Lava, not so much. At higher levels you may be able to freeze it; I haven't experimented with that.

What may have been a bug is the pathfinding UI running your character through the lava. They've made some improvements to that, but it may well not be perfect yet.
