Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Bug? Started game at level 5

I decided to make a multiplayer game, invited a friend in at the character creation screen (using steam to invite).

Character creation worked flawlessly for both of us (we had one another greyed out), but when we started the game we were already level 5...

We did not receive any additional stat points or traits to assign however, so overall a bit of a bugger as our character would likely fail in mid to late game due to lack of skill/stat points available.

Did you try saving and reloading, or restarting?

Yes, it seemed permanent.

I don't have my friend on to try it again, but essentially just invite a friend at the char creation screen (via steam invite).
