Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Multiplayer between Steam and GOG users?

Hello!

I'm intending to get my Kickstarter key for GOG but if any of my friends would buy the game as well, I'm sure they'd rather use Steam. So, how will the multiplayer work then? Is D:OS relying a lot on the Steam Workshop stuff or will there be no inconvenience if I use GOG instead of Steam?

Currently the GOG version is limited to Direct IP or LAN. Larian said they were looking at GOG Galaxy, but that will not be available for awhile even if they implement support.
