Perhaps it's similar to the reason why people like to have an ironman mode in the game, when they are perfectly capable of not save-reloading if they choose. It seems like a reasonable enough request to me as the OP isn't demanding anything or wanting to affect anyone else's game. I suspect this won't be high on the dev's list of priorities though so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Right. I'm much more inclined not to eat sweets when they aren't in the house. When there are in the-house, sure I can just not eat them... but the temptation I rather not even have.
