I finally solved the twin caves mystery

Is it a bug or am I missing something here?

What you are missing is telling us what you are doing with the amulets!



You can drag items from your inventory to throw 'em places.

I also had the same issue. I literally just solved it about 10 seconds before typing this sentence.

You have to be in a very precise position in relation to the pedestals. I placed my character right up against the separating wall on the side of the pedestal closest to the barriers, and got as close to the pedestals as possible. Only then it would let me place the pendants.

That worked for me, so I hope it works for you also.
