Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Beta Graphics CPU heating up on Henchen selection

When I go into the Henchmen selection screen the graphics CPU heats up to 70 C. Come out of it and temp quickly dropped. Currently on Ultra with 60 frame cap (V-sync enabled)

70c on full load is normal, 85c is running a bit hot and you shouldn't be going over 90c. If you are using stock cooling, then it looks like everything is working fine.

I have a GTX 570 and it runs around 70c with low fan speed and drops down to the 50's when I up the fan a bit.

Just monitor it closely and adjust your fan speeds accordingly.

I was pointing out that it is only getting a significant temp rise on the Henchmen selection screen.
May need optimizing.

Are you using the frame limiter option in the options menu (or Vsync)? Sometimes with the simpler menus the GPU is like "Wheee, I'm going to render this at 200 FPS! WHIRRRRRRRR"

This is not happening to me at all. Henchmen selection appears no different than any other part of the game in this regard.
