Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Why can't a big strong Warrior CLIMB A HILL?

I'm so over all these berms and rock walls that any 7 year old could climb...and I have to walk around for hours looking for stairs.

Am I missing a "jump" or "climb" skill, or are all the characters geriatric and vertically challanged?

There is nothing on the raised plateaus in the Dark Forest. As for the areas around the dwarven village, etc. those are a good three or four feet off the ground. Scampering and crawling is undignified for a potential Divine One, so you can not climb up without a proper set of stairs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I'm sure I'll find this out as I get further, but the game map has way too much blacked out area in the dark forest that I can't figure out how to get to yet. Like all the SE (beyond some stream) and SW (from Imps castle West and South).

I assume there is some path through, but I'm not there yet.

the stream actually cute the map in half. Larian decided it was to big so they put that tehre to cut it in 2. way smaller, nothing there besideds a hopuse, that was origannaly going to be Boratus's, but you can't get to it, even with the teleporter stones ,go to Kiya's spoiler easter eggs thing,
