Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks evil dwarfs?!

Hmm I think I'm expericing something strange here, I'm lvl 29 all my skills put on magic, so normaly I do much damage with them, but these evil dwarfs what are they?! I can barely hurt them with my magic and I saw something else my resistance is suddenly at -500000 is that supposed to happen? or is there soemthing very wrong with my game?

i think there is something wrong with you game. u can hurt them with magic do some freeze then go & hit. For greater XP hit dwarfs in dwaren halls For one dwaren guard u will receive about 70000XP but rep. goes down <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

Thats known as the res bug. It is fixed in the latest patch. It happens if you were wearing an item that had the magic barrier skill.

I am indeed wearing such belt, now I tried removind all equipment and then addign it again but then it's even at -1000000. if I use the patch now can I still get to my original resistances?

thanks for the help at least my resistances are back to normal, but those dwarf are so strong against magic and I can't freeze em either

I killed them with Deadly Discs - they're vulnerable to physical damage.
