Hi, I just bought it today and I am not able to start up the game. Right as I start it up it crashes and windows tells me that 'Divinity Original Sin has stopped working'. It looks like it tried to create a log file but its empty as it probably crash before anything is logged.

I'm running it on my laptop and it meets the recommended requirements.
Intel Core i7
NVidia 650M GT
8 GB RAM.

I tried running the exe in administrator mode and windows xp compability mode as well and the same thing happens.
Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I have the crash dump file as well.

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game?

Did you verify local files for the game?

There will be an update with the release tomorrow, which may help.

I tried everything(anti-virus, verify files, update today) you said to do and it's still the same issue. There aren't any logs as well. Has anyone with the nvidia 650m gt have any problem with this?

If the recent update doesn't help, please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version).

The file is corrupted, apparently. My laptop (OSX 10.9.2) cannot open it due to this.

Any other way to simplify sending in a log, etc.?

I'm not sure. There should eventually be a Mac version of the support tool.
