Will Larian be giving out two backer codes for those who got the Duo pack through Kickstarter/PayPal? A friend and I went in on a Duo pack together, but obviously only one of us could actually "back" the project officially. My friend, who actually backed the project, got his backer code, but he never received a second code for me. Am I out of luck? If so, why? I can't imagine many people are buying a Duo pack just to have two copies for themselves. Thanks!

There will be another kickstarter update tomorrow, where hopefully questions about stuff like this will be answered.

You don't need 2 separate codes. The backer codes unlock personal kickstarter rewards, like message in a bottle, name a pet and co-op dialogue, but the only personal items included in the duo pack are a couple kickstarter potions and Zandalor's Trunks.

I noticed that in the Larian Vault I do have the Kickstarter potion listed twice, but not Zandalor's Epic Trunks. Not even sure if it needs to be listed twice for the Duo Pack, but would be nice to know if the one listing of the trunks is correct or not.


For ph33rtehgd: It may be that your friend has not yet created his Larian Vault account with the Kickstarter code? It is in the Larian Vault where you will receive all the codes necessary to play when it is released.

MrAvers: My friend created his account and he has the Kickstarter code. Thinking on it more, I was trying to use that code last night when I was prompted for it during profile creation. Maybe the beta, while prompting for the code, does not actually have the capability of understanding it? I'm not sure. I hadn't played for much of the beta and my friend started playing way back in January and can't remember if he used his code or not at that time. Maybe the code he has will work for both of us on launch today.

So wait.. just to be clear, should I just give the dude to whom I gave my second Steam key the exact same Kickstarter key that I'm using?

Can you register the same Kickstarter code for a duo pack twice? I have a duo pack from Kickstarter but it says you can add it to the profile only at the start, so I don't want to mess anything up.

Earlier this week I had set both keys to GOG @larianvault (I did not request an Alpha/Beta key).
I just logged in again and both have been reset to Steam.
Now I can only change the first one back to GOG, for the DUO Key only Steam is available in the dropdown.
Will that 2nd option come back only once Non-Kickstarters can buy via GOG?

I set my Codes to GOG and Vault, too.
Then I found that my download was changed to STEAM with
NO WAY to change it to back to GOG.
When I tried to change at least my second unit to GOg and pressed
"change Input"--- I got another STEAM Key!!
WHAT ??!!!

I have a problem too : I have backed the game for a duo pack, but I gave to my friend the first alpha code of the game listed in the larian vault, and I have entered the second for myself.... (on steam)

When I want to enter the backer code for the potion and the trunck it won't work.... Does the code works only for the first key game ?

I have similar problem i set one copy as Steam and another as LarianVault (to get drm-free version) but instead i got two Steam codes
