Hey,

1.) If i start an "open" Multiplayer game and leave after some time. Is it still "open" for other players if i continue next time?

2.) If i join someones game, what advantage does that have for me? As i am playing as the teammate of the Host, do i still have some advantages for my "own" Character (Xp?Items?) after leaving and continueing my own game?

Games are "owned" by the creator - as host you can save/load/assign characters/kick/invite people into your game.

As the non-host, you have no rights whatsoever and can be removed at any point. So in short, if you join someone elses game you're better off knowing them, or understand you have no rights at all.
