Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Battlemage = Best starting gold?

Since most players are using custom characters anyway it makes sense to pick whatever gives the most gold value in items since you're going to be tweaking all the stats anyway.

So far it seems like battlemage is the best from those I've tried.

Just an FYI, and please correct me if there's a different class that gives more.

Maybe but I would choose a class with weapon of your custom class choice as you can't sell or buy for list price at begining.
