Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Is it okay to play on Steam while awaiting GOG key

We're still waiting for Larian to release the option to use GOG keys for D:OS Kickstarter backers. Today the instructions in the Larian Vault are that once we order a GOG key, the Steam version is disabled. Sounds good!

Problem is, it's 7 PM in Los Angeles and there's still no GOG keys. Until today, playing the release version on Steam forever locked you out of the GOG option. Is that still true? It would be nice to noodle around with the Steam version pending the switch.
