The camera needs some tweaking for a more solid feel.

1. Eliminate the drift or shifting of the camera as a character moves. Basically keep it directly locked on to the moving character. The camera lags behind the selected character when you move giving the impression of latent movement responsiveness. This same camera behavior also adds to a lack of real estate to click on when trying to move directly down. The UI element is naturally directly below the character so when the camera shifts up while your moving down, screen real estate and sight lines are drastically minimized from center downward.

2. Because of the camera angle the player can see much more terrain above center than below center. The proper thing to do here is to have the default position of the camera slightly below center to show more terrain below center. A good example of this would be Diablo III which positioned the camera slightly below center to help equalize sight perspective. Have a look if your able, not many noticed this.

3. Combine the above 2 with slightly higher max zoom out (if possible without the user seeing things he shouldn't). I feel this will make traveling nicer by having more real estate to click on and by seeing more of your surroundings. #1 and #2 are more important but I feel this would be a nice tweak as well.
