I honestly can't read text dialogs in places where NPCs are constantly repeating the same sentences over and over every 15 seconds. Realy, i just wan't to scream at NPCs to shut up so that i can enjoy the text dialog options, or franticaly look for my mute button so that i can concentrate on reading!
a) The NPCs repeat their chatter wayy too often, if you sit still in somewhere with some NPCs, you get anoyed after 1-2 minutes and listening to them every 30 seconds repeating themselfs while you try to explore stuff or talk (in text) with people.
b) If a text dialog pops up while you engage text dialog and you want to read it and pick some options, you get constantly interrupted by 1-2 NPCs speaking over and over the same stuff, it gets wayyyyyyyy too distracting while trying to read text dialogs
c) Sometimes you get 2 voice dialogs at the same time and you can't even understand one of them, you need to read the bottom text transcript to actualy make some sense
d) It apears the voice range is wayy overtuned, you can listen NPCs wayy too far, and this makes it that you listen to overlapping dialogs from a couple diferent locations
Don't get me wrong, the voice-over is absolutely brilliant and lifelike atm, realy makes the game 100000% better than all silent, but this issues makes the game way too confusing atm and i can't realy read the text in peace, it's way over the top.
Sugestions:
1) Make the NPC voice "range" smaller so that you need to be a little closer to them in order to ativate the voices.
2) Make it that only one NPC voice can be triggered at the same time, except in the cases that you have a lot of people screaming or something
3) Please please please make it that when the text dialog UI is trigered (or the journal/recipies/map, etc) the NPC chatter voice-over is paused/disabled temporarily so that we can concentrate on the text.
Please do something to tone down the voiceover NPC chatter so that i can play the game again, i was realy enjoying it but i was geting mad at the screen and can't read the text properly witout geting irritated
