Hello,

i backed the game but never played any beta or alpha, because i want to see the final content.

now i'm very disappointed about the dialogs and my possible answers.

NPC : "Hey, any news from the front ? U saw some Orcs out there"

And i can choose between
"Tell me something about you"
or
"What did your hear about the dead from XY..."

Questions from NPC will be answered with "I have to go"
and so on...

the graphic is nice and the combatsystem seems good to.. but the dialogs.. destroy my motivation to play the game even longer

very sad for me..

what did you think about it ?

btw.. i play the game in german, and have still english text ingame, with the newest update (steam)
btw 2nd.. i backed the game because it was praised to be in german and for linux... german language is just text now (english voiceovers with german speechbubels and npc who talk in english.. gaaar...)
and linux is "coming later"... .. .

Perhaps you should clarify what you had actually EXPECTED from the dialogue system.

Did you expect profound and sophisticated dialogues with every encountered NPC? Larian would need 20 years to finish this game then. When you talk to important characters or your companion, dialogues and your answer possibilities are very good, maybe not the Planescape or Fallout standard, but I haven't seen better dialogues since those games (NWN 2: Mask of Betrayer, maybe)

Try playing the game for more than five minutes @OP.

I expecteced more answers that match the questions
Planescape is by far the best, that's right, i have not expected something like that, but a little bit more then it has now.
and i'm not only talking about some random npc.
i had just one good dialog so far, and that was the one with npc from the "great five"

and 20 years to finish a good system... sry..
