Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Constant crashing -loading, entering certain areas

I've played since release day, but at some point since then, I lost the ability to load my game. Whenever I try, it hangs at "Cleaning up Session" and just dumps me back to my desktop with the message, "Divinity Original Sin has stopped responding." When I reboot the game, I can load my last save with no problems whatsoever.

Also, I can't seem to do either the Wishing Well quest or the White Witch quest. Whenever I try to have the well transport me, the game crashes while loading the next area. The same thing occurs when I try to enter the rift in the lake. I would really like to finish these two quest lines, especially since I do not know how they tie into the larger story, but I am unable to do so.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I have the same issue the rift in the lake crashes me, I can no longer progress in the game.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games. If file size is an issue, any saves not related to the problem can be deleted.
