The questions are about things YOU did in the game already. You have to answer them based on what you actually did in each quest. I don't believe there are set right and wrong answers, due to that.

I answered them according to my existing character traits but it doesn't work...

It asked me about things I did in game prior, choices I made in dialogues with NPC's. I just said what I did and it worked, got all of them right.

Did you disagree in the dialogue or did you only answered the question based on one character?

Edit: Just answered correctly by coincidence. cheer

Mostly agreed on them, but I chose the final outcomes not what a specific character said, so if like I failed the argument then I would use the winning one as my answer.

You can even use a glitch/exploit here.

1) Solve the puzzle for XP.
2) Sell all your powerful stuff to the goblins.
3) Destroy the totem and every goblin becomes hostile.
4) Collect all your items you've sold to them since they drop them once dead...

You can easily make up to 40,000 gold here (in my game game every goblin had about 10,000 gold for bartering).

wink

I use the goblins as a bank,
1) sell all useless junk to them
2) get about 40000 gold
3) repeat every time you level

I also got the blood stone by putting an exploding barrel next to the totem and putting oil down as a fuse and led it far enough away that it won't trigger a fight. I had to move their drum's and stuff out of the way so that the explosion didn't break them. The totem died, I got the blood stone, but the surrounding goblins don't stop doing their weird ritual thing

4) once you have a boat load of gold, kill the goblins and get a lot of your stuff back

5) win

Then you didn't answer right. You just have to remember what you DID, not what you ANSWERED in the situations the totem asked.

You don't have to answer what is 'right' to your characters.
It simply checks if you did what you said you did.

If you killed the guards, tell the totem the answer that looks like that.
If you stopped the thief, say the answer that you punished or stopped his hand.
If you helped Alfie, affirm that you did.

The first two questions are situations in Cyseal and the third is right after entering Luculla Forest, so you probably should have done them.

Both option for the 3rd question are wrong in my scenario... When triggering the escort quest i went to heal the animal(forgot its name) and the npc dialog appeared ( those dialog triggered when you attack a friendly ). After the heal , my partner accepted the quest and we completed it. Was wondering if this is a bug or working as intended that i could not get a correct answer to the totem's third question.

I would assume a bug, if you answered the first 2 questions correctly and neither answer for the 3rd is accepted.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, you can delete most of the saves from the zip, leaving one just before speaking to the totem.
