Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Cant initate story of the stones

So while I was checking on something I ran across where during the murder quest, that at the top floor of the Inn a stone will initiate the quest. Is this not the place for it?

Only reason im just posting is because I read about it and im just not sure where this quest starts and or is.

One thing says talk to the imp, the other says theres a stone upstairs of the inn.

What am I missing?

It's downstairs actually. In the murder room, the one guarded by a soldier.

Im in there now, theres nothing in here.

Does this quest show up in the journal?

You are supposed to be teleported to the imp the first time when you enter the room.

I was, but shouldn't it show up in my journal somewhere?

I see that its what opens rooms, which is fine but I simply would of thought the story of the stones would of ended up in my journal somewhere.

It's the quest A Source Hunter's Journey that gets updated I think.
