The lag begins as soon as I kill Dietmar and the Staff of Pergamon drops. Then once I kill the last enemy the lag reaches full force.

I have to press and hold the mouse button down for 3-4 seconds to interact with buttons or move to a location.

I've tried changing graphics from high to very low with no change. Restarting the game makes no difference to the lag. I can load a save before the fight and the lag is not present. But any save after the fight is filled with lag.

I hope some answer can be found for the cause. I'd very much like to continue playing this great game which I am 16 hours into.

I'm having the exact same issue, but it's not tied to the Dietmar fight (I haven't even gotten that far yet). This has happened to me 3 or 4 times already.

- Everything is working well/running smoothly
- Framerate suddenly drops through the floor (constant 5 FPS the most recent time)
- Graphic settings have absolutely no effect on this
- The only fix is to reload an earlier save

I just left town for the first time via the west gate, and as I said, I've already had this issue 3 or 4 times. It's making it extremely difficult to play, I may just give up for a while and hope some of the issues get ironed out in time.

So far this is the only time it has happened and I've restarted the fight twice from two separate saves. But the same thing happens after the fight and I get a huge lag spike.

I wouldn't be bothered by it much, except It's worth a lot of exp.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system info, etc, as well as your saves (older saves can be deleted if size is an issue). If reloading doesn't help, or exiting the game and restarting, then there must be a problem in the save itself, so a before and after save should help Larian track down the problem.
