Hi (again) everyone.

I'm wondering - no, I really *want* to know - whether the first two companions (Jahan and Madora) are all you get, or if there's more later on in the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking just for the sake of knowing. I don't even want to know what they can do, if there are any at all.
I can't seem to find anything recent about this anywhere, save for that it's been said more than once that there would be more followers. I still don't know how official that is though smile

I just want to know in regard to certain skill-choices when leveling up my main characters - so that I'm not picking redundant stuff, if you know what I mean.

As always, thanks in advance! laugh

Same here, my buddy and I happened to create a two-handed sword wielding warrior and a water/air mage, then we meet these 2 guys... smile

I haven't seen any *actual* companions, but you'll get to a point where you have a room where they can stay, and you can swap 'em out for other henchmen. I haven't tried it, myself, because those two companions perfectly fit the ones I made.

:o Fortunately you meet them very early in the game!

I know; it's one of the reasons I found it... impractical to have a companion-swapping hall where there's none to be swapped. I mean, if it's just the two of them and I choose to dismiss, just send them back to where I found them.
It's like having a huge castle just to store away your butter knife.

I guess the hall is supposed to represent the larger number of henchmen options you can have. But yeah, it's a little odd to only have the two companions, especially when you get tooltips telling you that all sorts of beings can join you.

Maybe in an expansion or something, I hope! 'Cause I seriously adore this game to the point that I'm revisiting areas just so I don't beat the game too quickly. XD

When you unlock the henchmen room you can recruit a bunch of different henchman from the heanchman guy, you pay a fee for them based on the level you recruit.

You have henchman of all levels and can recruit any (As long as you have money) up to 1 level higher than you main char.

If you dismiss one of these henchman they will just stay in the room for you to recruit again later for no fee, they have a lot of variety to pick from however I find most of them very hybrid and not many focused classes.

Also unsure if a bug or not but if you recruit a level 1 this way then dismiss it and re-add to your party it will instantly match you level and exp allowing you to spend level up points how you want as well.

These henchman do not appear to have any significant story or background however as the other 2 in town do

Edit: You will need to have space free in your party to even view the recruits

Aha! Thanks a lot laugh

Could be useful, but indeed I'd rather stick to more focused classes with a little personality to boot.

By the way, I recently read somewhere on these very forums that while there are only two full companions in game at the moment, two more will be added somewhere in the near future.

Can anyone confirm?
