a no CD crack can be for convenience, and with a legally bought game I don't see any problems in it.
Yes, this is true Viper. I actually wanted to put most stress on the fact that a no-cd patch can cause severe bugs, which you wouldn't experience when you don't use such a patch. And I mentioned the legal/not legal part because I know some people could play a pirated version. Didn't want to offend anybody though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
And yes, sometimes gamers are not happy to use a cd to play a game, which I can understand, but it's also a part of the copy protection. As long as I don't get to many "I will kill you!" emails, it's ok. And the latter is true, I'm not exaggerating here. A few weeks ago, I got such an email, one page long from somebody cursing at me why the hell he/she had to use a cd to play the game!
