DD got to out of hand with potions. They should limit them somehow because your character can practicly be invinsible with them. Also, wouldn't it be great if they added more stratigic elements to the fighting system? I know it's hard to do with a hack and slach game set in real time, but I'm sure the developers could come up with something.

more tactical battle is nice. maybe fewer but more powerful enemies that make memorable & meaningful battles.

potions are indeed in abundance in DD which makes the alchemy skill pretty much redundant. except for the fun of combining stuff, which in fact do not require that skill.

yep, let's hope RRR & DD2 will have better combat system that makes quaffing potions more realistic.

Let's just have less potions. It will make the Alchemy skill a lot more useful too.

One thing about DD I did not like was that your mana does not self regenerate (like most other rpg's eg Diablo).

Agreed on that too. It would be alright if there was at least a skill to replenish it.

On that, I never understood why levelling up gave you full health and mana. I realise it's a friendly reward, but it makes no sense. It seems to be something that is just expected from character RPGs now.

not for lionheart. even if u level up it won't give u full health & mana. same with fallout tactics.
