So I've lost some arguments in Rock/Paper/Scissors.

I can't dig up some Orc graves.
I can't escort some guy back to town.
I can't join the Fab 5.

While this is my first play-through and I figure I'll stick with my choices (or not), but I'm wondering what am I missing?

Questing, looting and experience points. In general, it doesn't pay to argue for both sides, unless you notice it having to do with a specific trait you want for one of your chars. If that's the case, save before the rock-paper-scissors game and reload if the outcome was undesireable.

Those arguments really can get you in trouble. :P Then again, it's just a bit of content. You should be able to power through without the xp and loot.

What a power-gaming response :p
My RPG side says... deal with it... roll with the punches wink

Even if that may lead you to murder quite a bunch of legionaires as I was forced to do at some point due to a failed RPG-game XD

Hmm ... I have to admit the RSP game is kind of a hit or miss with me. It wouldn't let me escort some guy back to town, so I redid it (took about five tries) and when I finally got it I got a few more encounters escorting him back and some exp for the quest itself. All that would have been missed if I had just gone with the lost RSP game.

I like the idea ... but it just seems like there should be some alternative also. I feel like what I'm wanting to do it getting overturned by the very PC I'm playing. Pretty unique to this game. I think this will go a LOT better when I can set the personalities of the PC's so if I want to be a nice guy all the time they will agree with me. Right now I feel like I'm traveling with Mr. Bigheart and Ms. Dickhead.

I was wondering myself about the Fab Five stuff as I said no to the NPC outside the Inn and there seems to be no way to get back to it after that, will it affect my characters development that badly or it is just a one-off simple quest?
Thanks

The Fab Five quest is basically the same quest you can get from another NPC, so no; you won't be missing out.

@ LeBurns; You could simply let your toons agree with each other? Or did you turn off dual convo's/picked an AI.

I always try to get them to agree, and often they do, but sometimes I'm not given the option and the RPS game starts.

I am curious as to what happens if I click the 'skip' button on the RPS game. Does it just quit the game, or does the PC decide who wins? Been afraid to try it.

You can always agree (after all, you're arguing with yourself). Just pick the same stance for both... and since they agree, it's done.

Skip means it auto-resolves. Who wins is up to chance, modified by the same things that modify the game (charisma, option modifiers).

Well I don't always get the option to agree. When the guy asked to be escorted back to the city PC#1 said sure, but PC#2 had two options and both were to forget the guy, so as soon as I picked either one the RPS game started.

You always get 2 options for both. One of the options of the second PC *had* to be agreement. Only if the 2 options conflict does the Reason/Charm/Intimidate set in (and sometimes that too has an option to give in, not always though).

You probably misread something to think both were disagreements.
