Try creating a new profile and then start a new game.
Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the
D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system info, etc, as well as your saves. Hopefully that will help Larian figure out how information from a previous game got carried over into your new game. File size may be an issue, so you might need to selectively delete some from the zip (or upload to Dropbox, etc and sent a link, rather than email).
