So the last 3 bosses drop loot and as soon as they died the game ends permanently. Why would they drop loot if you planed to end the game without being able to go back and finish any outstanding side quests.
Heck I even made a save when the boss was one hit away from death so I can cycle through his drop table.

Never the less excellent game, 10/10 would kick start again ^^.
