I'm finding DOS to be very hit and miss; at times great, at times I want to headbutt my monitor. Not sure if Larian devs read this forum, but here goes:

1. Increase non-combat walk speed

2. Pause button -- Many reasons for this, for example the UI makes it too easy to click the ground during a Turn, or target a moving enemy in stealth. Pausing would allow me to save AP, or line up the shot.

3. All party members should enter combat regardless of distance -- Scouting is frustrating because if my ranger gets too far from the party, he ends up fighting mobs himself.

4. Improve targeting in elevation -- Too often my archer hits the ground on a hill, even though the game allows me to line up the shot.

5. Better lock difficulty indicator -- I have no idea if a lock is pickable until I fail, losing precious picks. Or just make picks cheaper. Not everyone wants to rob the town blind to afford stacks of them.

6. Enemies shooting through smoke -- Not sure if this is intentional or Perception related, but it's really cheap that I set a smoke screen/oil fires, enemies can still target me, but I can't shoot back.

7. Why can't I pickpocket a target twice? Won't this break quests?

8. More waypoint markers -- For example, Aureus' quests. If I could have #3, then I could live with the quest marker system as is. Stumbling into high level mobs too much right now.

Anyway, time for bed.

3. Combat is turn based... as in while your one character is engaged in combat, you can click on the rest of your party and get them to come and join. The turn order will be a little different to reflect their late entry into the foray but your Ranger should never have to fight alone.

4. Having never had your issue, I can only guess at possible solutions:
- make sure your enemy is highlighted bright red before shooting, a maroon red means the shot won't go through
- look at your terrain. If you are shooting uphill, much like physics in the real world, you will be at disadvantage and your range is going to suffer. You can't shoot through obstacles, etc.

5. Chests, doors, etc. have a level. You can always save before trying and reloading if you are short on lockpicks. I know it's a strange concept these days in games but sometimes you just learn by trial and error.

6. If you are shooting through a smoke/fog/gas cloud and is near it, you will be able to shoot, and vice versa for enemies. If you are shooting afar into a smoke/fog/gas cloud, you will have visibility issues.

7. Because you can buy the same item from the target as well. I thought you didn't want to rob the town blind?

8. You can flee battle if you aren't ready for it.

---------------

A lot of people say they have "suggestions" for the game when they really mean they want the dev to implement their ideas ASAP. Seeing as how the devs are pretty busy fixing bugs, adding localization and features, and there are a lot of "suggestions" on this board, you might not see the changes you want for a long time.

I hope you can have fun with the game in the meantime smile

If you have enough points in crafting (I want to say level 3), you can make lockpicks by combining a hammer with nails, or combining soap with a key. I've got about 30 lockpicks, strictly from crafting.
