Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues My Golden Grail doesn't work. :(

It's in my inventory along with the Mormon underwear (which works), but it has no description and doesn't do anything when I drag it to an item. I've tried weapons, armor, etc. I've also tried starting new games. Is this a known issue?

Do you get the crafting window coming up after drag and dropping the grail onto a piece of armour? Your starting boots, sarong, bracers and robe/armour should all work. The effect is visible on your characters, but not the inventory icons.

No crafting window. The items just switch places as if you're doing it with non-craftable stuff.

The crafting window should come up if you drag the Golden Grail to armour you have equipped, or any in your inventory, or vise versa...

Did you try verifying local files? (for the Steam version)

There is no description for the grail yet, but it should work in the latest Steam or GOG version.

The grail is misleading as it advertised as "an in-game item that allows you to colour your items in gold and sell them for more". While technically accurate, I don't think I'm too off in suggesting it should have specified "armor" instead of implying any item.
