LOS is OP

The body of my character is right next to me, but the sparkmaster is so big I guess I don't have Line of Sight of it to revive it.

There was a legendary item under that robot too, I can see while holding the alt key, but only briefly cause there was a cloud of smoke over the robot. I took about 5 minutes of walking along the smoke to be able to have the item name be up. Walking back and forth through the smoke with the alt key held down allowed me to see it was there, but for the love of god I couldn't pick it up cause the name wouldn't stay up for more than a split second. Please fix the LOS.

Are you sure it's not the lava preventing you from getting close enough? I had to drag waterbarrels to the cave to put out lava so I could both loot and also get past with half my party.

I used rain few times already. Fire shouldn't prevent me from seeing an item with alt. It's LOS that prevents that, so smoke, or a wall. But it's dumb when I the item is in the smoke, I literally have to be on top of the item in order to see it.

The ALT key highlight is based on your characters perception, so it's entirely possible the fire/lava/smoke/etc could prevent you from "seeing" something.

I know, that's why I think it's stupid. I mean realistically I can understand, but trying to find that sweet spot to be able to see it with the alt key is stupid.

I had the same issue earlier. I only saw greens, but now I'm thinking there could have been a legendary item there that I didn't spot.

Try to find a scroll of Tornado? Probably not available yet, but that's a solution.
