First off let me say thanks to all of the people who contribute here. I have learned alot about the game from reading the various threads.

I didnt know about the silver armor until after I left the stalkers lair, and I didnt open up the chest to get it, and havent had a chance to go back yet. Heres where it gets weird. I go to get the Holy Sword and when I make it back to town I have the Silver Breastplate in my inventory. It has a LONG story about how if I enchant it correctily it could become something special. So the question is, How did it get there?

Thanks for any ideas.

Hi Jinx,

Welcome to the forum! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

That message hints at an Easter Egg in the game. Click the following link:

Hope this helps,

Thank you for the welcome.

I actually saw that thread after I left the stalker cave. I figured I would go back and get it but tonight while doing the holy item quest the Silver Breastplate just showed up in my inventory. Is there another way to get it besides in the Stalkers chest?

Are you sure you didn't get it out of the Stalker's chest and then maybe forgot about it? I don't think there's another way to get that breastplate.

Thanks.

Yes very sure. I sold everything I had before I went back to Iona(sp)'s cave to get the sword. When I got back in town I had a " Silver Breastplate". I think it may have dropped from one of the "Steel" monsters who pop in when you touch the ancient pyrimids. Anyone else ever seen that?

I think I messed up that quest. I dropped my ale somewhere and I don't know where. I didn't think I needed it. Is there something special about the 5 bottles of ale I get from Rimmer. Or is there another way I can get them?

Simply talk to him and buy them (do it through speachoption, not through normal trade).
