This trick is also useful when you first come to the "end of time" area ... because the vases can contain lvl 20 loot on successful lucky charm rolls. The lvl 20 weapons are rather useless for combat (high ap cost), but for bashing doors/chests they are alright. After a few attempts i found following white armor pieces:
- plate boots (24 armor, 12 str req)
- dragon armor (64 armor, -0.9 movement, 12 str req)
- plate armor (80 armor, +20 all resists, -0.9 movement, 15 str req)
Over 100 armor (unbuffed) at level 2/3 is very rewarding.
After upgrading my strength attribute i switched to the plate armor (around level 5). With crafting upgrades (ruby, plate scraps, anvil), it has these stats:
- plate armor (88 armor, +50 all resists, +0.1 movement, 15 str req)
With the talent "weather the storm" and this armor your warrior can get immunity to all elemental damage at level 7.
The vases can also contain high level skill books, dex armor, ...
