Hi there, welcome

I'm interested in the game and especially in the editor. But before I buy it, I would like to know what is possible with the editor.

Here are some of the ideas that I have for a mod, maybe someone can tell me if that works:

1) I would love to make a scenario like the one in Legend of Grimmrock? A couple of characters in a big dungeon who try to survive. Is that possible? (or maybe in a haunted castle or an island with a zombie apocalypse or something like that)

2) Is it possible to change skills and equipment of the player characters in the beginning? (so that they start off with a basic attack skill and a simple club or knife and nothing else and get more experienced later in the game)

3) Is it possible to generate a new class and to ban predefined classes from the character editor? (for example: If I would like to build a world without mage characters or just allow one class called survivor or aュdventurer?

4) Is it possible to predefine loot?

5) Is it possible to edit the health status (For example: After a fight the health of a character should only regenerate slowly or just when the character is sleeping or eat food or drink a potion)

6) How is it in the moment, does characters need to sleep, drink, eat?

7) Is it possible to let enemies respawn after a certain time?

8) Is it possible to let players build barricades or buildings?

9) Is it possible to control the product range of a dealer? (For example: The dealer should sale healing potions but only 2-3 a day, after that he is sold out and it take him a while to get new potions)

Although I know that there is not much experience with the editor yet, I hope someone can answer the questions. rolleyes

Thanks for reading!

1 Yes. 2 and 3, probably yes. 4 yes. 5, 7 and 9 I'm not sure about. Pretty sure 8 is impossible. As for 6, characters don't need to do any of this to survive, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to add this.

I'm no expert so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Building barricades should be easy, really, since game items manipulation is one of the bigger features. So, stacking barrels, boxes, moving smaller furniture and other such items in the game world that you can already do - should serve that purpose perfectly.

i guess some other items could be edited to allow moving them too.

Thank you for your quick replies! Sounds good so far. Realy nice that it is possible to stack barrels and boxes. It Would be nice to hear something about the modding possibilities for charakters and the health status... but I guess the game and the editor are too new and all still practice on it.

That would actually be very easy because the game supports dragging items on to a forge, it would surely work if you made a custom windowframe to drag planks on.

Importing models is still bit of a black box at this point though.
