Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Humming / Whirring ambient sound driving me insane

This only started happening recently - it is a humming echoing whirring sound, its so distracting and I have narrowed it down to being ambient sound - if I turn ambient all the way down I can finally again hear myself think and hear the beautiful music in this game.

Anyone else heard of this? Would love to know how to fix it.. Any help is appreciated thanks!

I don't have a problem. If you pan the screen around, is the humming consistent, or are there locations where it is better or worse than others?

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games (which are probably not relevant, so if file size is an issue most can be deleted from the zip).
