Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Four Elemental Pillars mine

I'm stuck in the NW cyseal area where you go down into both mines with the four elemental pillars. I did both and killed both mysterious opponents. Got the square and round amulets. Then the level below has the two pedastals stating that a rectangular and round obect are missing. However I can't put them amuelts on them. Says path blocked. What am I missing?

try moving everyone well away, seperatet the character with the amulet
have that character approach while trying to place. adjust your camera angle, try top-down. eventually the cursor outline turns white - thats when you let go.
