Hi.

So I just installed the game through Steam and the game kept giving me an Error Code 504 whenever I attempted to save my game. This happened for both manual and auto saves. I verified the game catch, same problem.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and now I'm getting ErrorCodes 504 AND 502. When I'm in game I can see the save attempts in the save game list but there's just a blank screen where there should be a screen shot. If I try to load one of these files the screen just goes blank. When I restart the client there are no saves in the list.

Any suggestions or other information you need from me to help detail this out? I really want to play this game but I can't put any time into it knowing there's no save option for me.

Hi!
At 8 PM they released a small patch, i think this one messed up the save games frown

This is off a fresh install though post-patch. I literally bought the game about six hours ago.

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games (assuming they were at least partially written).


Try starting the game directly from the '..\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\Shipping\EoCApp.exe' program file, by right clicking and running as administrator. If you start a new game can you save then?

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game?

I tell you Raze...this wont fix the problem...everybody has the same problems with save games since that last patch. Devs broke something there...
