Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Leandra's spell and blood of the mother

This might have been answered before but I've looked all over. I see Leandra's spell in my inventory but no blood of the mother in my inventory anywhere (although I've completed that quest). Is it an inventory item? Aren't you supposed to combine the two?

Another question was (assuming it's an inventory item), are you able to use it on the death knights any time (meaning they show up in different areas) or is this something for a specific quest or end event in the game? It would be nice if you could get rid of them instead of having to avoid the death knights all the time in different areas.

1) You can find Leandra's blood in the Immaculate cathedral. It looks very similar to a health potion and is a regular inventory item.

2) You have to combine the spell and the blood in a normal crafting process to create a spellbook.

3) It's a special spellbook that doesn't vanish and has no skill requirements. So every member of the party can learn the skill to make Death Knights vulnerable.

4) Yes, you will be able to kill every Death Knight apart from the few in the mine since the mine collapses once you left it throught the old temple. You just have to use the skill you learnt from the spellbook like a normal spell to make the knights vulnerable at the beginning of each fight.

Well, you can't consume it. Sometimes it's just hard to find stuff in the inventory.

Found it.. The icon in the inventory looks exactly like a large potion of healing! lol
